Joan Eisenberg, CMKBD, ASID, CFCS, is an independent Interior Space Planner specializing in Kitchen, and Bath, Home Office and Home Entertainment Design. She does not sell any products or receive compensation for any products used. Joan works with her clients' ideas and priorities and incorporates her background as a Family and Consumer Scientist and her knowledge of Universal Design and space and motion efficiency to create a dream kitchen or bath for her clients. She works with consumers and building industry professionals for new construction or remodeling projects. She has worked in historic homes and super modem structures, from the smallest townhouse to some of the largest homes imaginable. Her clients range from builder’s building spec homes, to first time home buyers, to retiring seniors and people with varying disabilities. From a one hour consultation about reorganization or cosmetic update to a complete kitchen or bath plan, Joan is available to help give you an efficient as well as beautiful kitchen or bath. The scope of her involvement is determined by the needs of her clients, whether it is participating in the design aspect only, helping with product selection, or overseeing the completion of the project by acting as liaison between client and contractor. Joan strives to have her designs make a statement about her CLIENTS and not herself. She never wants to hear someone say "That looks like a Joan Eisenberg kitchen (bath, home office, entertainment center)." Rather, people should say "This really reflects you (the client). NEEDS ASSESSMENTS: Detailed environmental needs assessments and cost analysis of recommended modifications suitable for use in personal injury litigation or insurance negotiations.

PLAN REVIEW SERVICES: Impartial accessibility reviews of plans for new construction and / or site inspections for renovation projects.

EXPERT WITNESS TESTIMONY: Expert witness testimony for HUD (Fair Housing, 504, ADA) or personal injury litigation.

DESIGN: Accessible residential interior design, specializing in, but not limited to, kitchens & bathrooms.
